Changing stereotypes, working with a molding at a quarter!

For the first time in the collection of our plastic moldings, the CANVAS profile appeared. In the molding workshops it is also called “a studio frame”, "an American" frame, "Amerikanka".

The main difference between the CANVAS profile is the absence of a quarter. This is a new solution for the decoration of paintings in interior design, since the painting on a stretcher is embedded from the top of the frame, and not in a quarter from the bottom, as in other moldings. This method allows you to see the canvas from all sides and it seems as if the picture is floating in the air.

The first application of CANVAS in works was started by the avant-garde artists of the 20th century. Over time, the Г-shaped profile began to be used in different variations, in combination with other frames, creating the most interesting solutions. Frames from CANVAS profile can be decorated in different styles, so we made it in five different colors.
